The Artistic Hermit in My Head

This portfolio belongs to a closeted theatre kid. She spends her days in science labs, but inside her head, an artistic hermit is running rampant.

In this section, I lay my head on the table for dissection, allowing all of you to see the art and creativity that is tucked away while I am planning science experiments.

Socials

Below are links to social media pages and websites that I created and designed as part of my work in social media management.

Instagram was used as the social media platform to help encourage community in the PGR Institute of Biology (IB3) at Heriot-Watt University. All posts and graphic designs were designed by myself. I was in this role from September-December 2025, where social engagement increased significantly. These statistics can be seen below.

WordPress was the selected application to start a lab website for Dr. Peyman’s laboratory. An overview image of this website can be seen here, as well as the lab logo I designed.

Nadine’s Novel (k)Nook

My personal book blog is one of my favourite creative spaces. While I enjoy digital art, I also love expressing myself through literature and thoughtful discussions about books. Although I myself am a creative writer, I choose to keep these projects private at the moment.

Designs & Infographics

As part of my undergraduate degree, there were many instances in which digital design was used to convey complex scientific terms, into broken down bite-sized infographics and short articles. Some of these are included below in a compiled PDF.
